Today, I’m celebrating another trip around the sun and a deeply personal milestone: it has been exactly one year since I released my book, sharing my life’s story and reflections with the world. Putting my thoughts, struggles, and triumphs into words was an emotional journey, but as I look back on the past year, I realize that the experience has been transformative. This year has opened my eyes to new dimensions of myself, my habits, and my family.
When I first released my book, it felt like I was exposing a part of myself that I had previously hidden. Sharing my journey was both nerve-wracking and liberating. I wasn’t sure how my story would be received, but I was certain it was a story I needed to tell. That decision gave me a sense of clarity about who I am, where I come from, and why I approach life the way I do.
Gaining Insight Into My Habits and Family Patterns
Writing and releasing my book allowed me to look at my habits through a fresh lens. Some of these habits I’ve carried for years are patterns shaped by family, experiences, and personal beliefs. In writing, I examined my actions and thought processes more deeply, noticing how some behaviors were unconscious responses to circumstances from my past. I started to see connections to family history that I hadn’t fully realized before.
For example, I discovered how deeply family dynamics and past experiences had influenced my approach to work, relationships, and even how I manage my time. Some habits that I thought were purely personal preferences or quirks had roots in my family’s way of dealing with challenges. This realization has allowed me to choose which habits to keep and which to change, allowing me to grow in ways I hadn’t considered before.
Gratitude as a Foundation for Growth
This past year has also marked the beginning of a new chapter of gratitude in my life. Gratitude started as a simple practice: each day, I’d jot down three things I was thankful for. Over time, this practice has evolved, helping me appreciate life's big and small aspects. I realized how powerful it is to pause and acknowledge what we have instead of dwelling on what we lack or comparing ourselves to others. This shift has helped me cultivate a deeper sense of fulfillment and joy in my everyday life.
Gratitude has become a grounding force, helping me navigate life’s ups and downs. Instead of focusing on challenges as setbacks, I now see them as opportunities for growth and reflection. Looking back, I am grateful for the moments of struggle just as much as the moments of joy because they have shaped me into who I am today.
Embracing a New Year with Intention
As I celebrate this birthday, I feel a renewed sense of purpose. I am grateful to have another year to reach higher, to learn more, and to become a better version of myself. My book has been a significant chapter in my life, but my story is far from over. I am excited to continue this growth, gratitude, and self-discovery journey.
Thank you to those of you who have supported me this past year. To anyone embarking on their own journey of self-reflection and growth, know that every step is worth it. And to myself, here’s to another year of becoming more, reaching higher, and finding fulfillment in every moment.
Happy Birthday to me! Here’s to another year of living fully, embracing growth, and practicing gratitude daily.
With gratitude and a dash of courage,

🥰
Very nice!
